How It Works

Adding page numbers to a PDF with LocalPDFs is simple and completely private. Start by dragging and dropping your PDF file into the upload area, or click to select it from your device. The tool accepts files up to 10 MB and a maximum of 500 pages.

Once the file is loaded, you can customise the page number appearance: choose the position (X and Y offsets from the bottom‑left corner), select a font (Helvetica, Times‑Roman, or Courier), set the font size and colour, and decide on which page to start numbering and the starting number value. A live preview shows how the first page will look.

When you are satisfied with the settings, click “Add Page Numbers”. The tool processes the PDF locally inside your browser, without sending any data to a server. The numbered PDF is then available for immediate download. Your original file stays on your device, and no one else ever sees your documents.
