Once the file is loaded, enter a strong password (minimum 3 characters) and confirm it. A strength meter helps you choose a secure password. After confirming, click “Protect PDF”. The tool encrypts the PDF locally inside your browser – the file never leaves your device.
When the encryption is complete, you can download the password‑protected PDF. The original file remains untouched. Keep your password safe – without it, the PDF cannot be opened. This tool does not upload your file anywhere, ensuring your privacy at all times.
