Max 10MB total

How It Works

Converting PNG images to PDF with LocalPDFs is simple and completely private. Start by dragging and dropping your PNG images into the upload area, or click to select them from your device. You can upload as many images as you like, with a total size limit of 10 MB.

Once the images are loaded, you can reorder them by dragging each thumbnail – the order in the list determines the page order in the final PDF. Choose whether to merge all images into a single PDF (one image per page) or convert each image into a separate PDF file.

Click the corresponding button, and the tool converts each PNG to JPEG (quality 0.8) and embeds it into the PDF using the image's natural dimensions as page size. All processing happens locally inside your browser, without sending any data to a server. The output PDF(s) are then available for immediate download.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it safe to convert PNG to PDF online with LocalPDFs?

Yes – your images never leave your browser. All conversion happens locally on your device. No upload, no server, no privacy risk.

What is the maximum total file size?

Currently we support up to 10 MB total. There is no limit on the number of images.

Why are PNG images converted to JPEG inside the PDF?

JPEG compression significantly reduces the PDF file size while maintaining excellent visual quality. We use a quality setting of 0.8 (80%) for a good balance.

Can I keep the original PNG transparency?

PDF does not support transparent backgrounds for images embedded as JPEG. Transparency will be replaced with white. For lossless conversion, use our “PNG to PDF (lossless)” tool (coming soon).

Do I need to create an account?

No account, no sign‑up, no email required. Use the tool immediately.

What happens to my images after conversion?

Nothing – because they never leave your computer. Once you close the browser tab, all data is gone.
